$100 gift card for the mall .it only has a radio shack and sears

I have this gift card and theres no electronic shops at the mall I have to spend it in

All it has is radio shack and sears. Does any one know of anything slightly interesting an audiophile could buy at these stores ?

    An SPL meter at Radio Shack. You could always get tools at Sears. Can't have too many tools around

    I'm in need of a torque wrench that'll measure down to 100 in. lbs :tongue:

    Very useful tool for replacing those I-Phone Torx screws with the new security screws. Have to torque them jussssssst right, or your phone will drop from 4G to 3G.

    I can think of a million tools to get from Sears, some or most you don't own.

    ^^^^Same, i bought all right handed screw drivers for myself but the Mrs. uses left handed so i need to get another set.

    Just buy a bunch of dvd's and call it a day.

    ANY torque wrench Sears sells, you DON'T WANT! Well maybe the beam type are okay,just stay away from the micro and digitork ones, they SUCK.:wink:

    Got mine at Autozone and it works like a charm when I need it.

    I'll heed your advice though when I pick a better one up. I just need something that measures a bit lower than what mine does.

    If PFB's buying it for me though, I'm not gonna complain! :tongue:

    I was setting up a rear end that needed a 15 in./lb torque setting once, Snap-on was happy to help me out.......for IIRC around $250.00!:eek:

    i went to the shack for some clamping mini test leads...they broke upon 1st use..they took my address and said i would rcv a $10 gift cert...got nothing...i used to work for them in the early 90s..much different now to say the least..

    spend your $$$ on some craftsman stuff

    It was the turning force setting for the pinion yoke/shaft/gear.:tongue:Smartypants, FWIW the body was by Fisher(68 F'bird):wink:
