I saw him open for Norah Jones a few years back.
I found his first album a bit boring.
I haven't listened to the new stuff.
In fairness I should give it a try.

Just picked up Mission Bell, too. I agree, a very good album, along w/his others. I'm not a big Willie Nelson fan, but the last track on MB is quite nice.
I really like his laid back style. First saw him open for Norah Jones about 6 yrs ago, once since then and I have tickets to see him at the House of Blues in Dallas in a few weeks. Was able to meet him twice and he's very personable.➀Speakers: Polk1.2tl's (Uber Mods) ➁Pre/Amp/DAC: PS Audio BHK Signature & 250, DirectStream ➂Cables/IC's: MIT S1Bi-Wire/S1 Balanced +Avel Lindberg 1000VA "Dreadnought" ➃Power Conditioner: PS Audio P15 Power Plant ➄Power Cords: Core Power Technologies Gold, DH Labs Power Plus DIY w/Neotech NC-P301 & P311ends ➅Streaming: Roon ROCK on wifi'd NUC, TP-Link WAP, & Uptone EtherREGEN, AfterDark, Emperor Double Crown Clock, Black Modernize LPS, PS Audio AirLens⟿Ω☯☥☮⟿🔊♩♪♫♬♩♪♫♬♩♪♫♬ -
