    Thanks for the responses!

I have actually raised my budget now so I should have no problem buying the full system at once. I have around $850 to spend on it. I definitely CANNOT go any higher than that, though. lol I'm simply trying to find some nice used or refurbished deals instead of paying full retail price if I can help it.

In the $800-$900 price range, though, is this system my best option?

    Used/Refurb 7.1 Receiver

    Polk Monitor 70's x2

    Polk Monitor 40's x2

    Polk PSW505

    Polk CS2

Are there any speaker slots that I could do better for in the same price range? Polk and Klipsch are the only two companies that make high quality audio at reasonably affordable prices, but the Klipsch are a bit out of my price range, I believe. That is unless I can find some great deals on used/refurbs.

If you guys would change anything at all, please let me know.

    Thanks!

The monitor 70's are nice, but make sure you get a receiver that can run them... other wise you might be better off with monitor 60's and a larger receiver budget.
