MOMO carbon series amp and MMC6500 comps

Thinking of running a woofer (and it's passive x-over if needed) from MMC6500 as either a rear fill or midbass in addition to SR5250.
SR5250 will be either bi-amped or active pushed by PA500.4
and Polk/momo C300.2 amps seems to be perfect for MMC6500's woofers.

Here's what i'd like some explanation on (from amp's description):
How would this effect woofers only from MMC6500? I'm lost as to what exactly amp does when it "sees" momo speakers

If you're building an all-Polk system, check out this exclusive feature; the C300.2 features a Pre-EQ switch, which optimizes the crossover and bass level especially for use with Polk/MOMO full-range speakers and subwoofers!
Pre-EQ: When using the C300.2 amplifier to drive Polk/MOMO full-range speakers (crossover set to HP) and subwoofers (crossover set to LP), the specifications of the Pre-EQ crossover are as follows:
LP (for Polk/MOMO Subwoofers):
◦Center Frequency: 40Hz
◦Bandwidth: 1/3 octave
◦Gain: +9dB
HP (for Polk/MOMO Full-range Speakers):
◦Corner Frequency: 10.1kHz
◦Slope: 12dB/octave
◦Gain: +10dB

It depends on what you have the crossover set to. When you set it to LP, it adds boost to 40 Hz. When you set it to HP, it adds boost to 10K.
With the 400.4, Pre-EQ sets the crossover points for front and. rear amp channels for bi-amping your Momo components.
For the 300.2, I'd suggest leaving it off.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

You basically just repeated what i quoted but somehow this time i understood it right away lol, thanx!
Curious thou - is it really "momo system only" thing or just marketing? The way i see it this same LP/HP/boost... thing can be used with literally any speakers hooked up to this amp, not just momos, no?2008 Nissan Altima
