We are taking delivery of a Mitsubishi 65838 DLP TV which has 16 speakers and amplifier inside. We need two things - a subwoofer and an am-fm radio. I am assuming a powered SW is best. Trying to figure out if there is any reason to go wireless. We have a large living room which opens to our dining area and kitchen. The SW will physically fit best about three feet to the left of the TV on a carpeted floor.
I am assuming adding an am-fm tuner us all I need as it's signal would assumedly be amplified well by the TV's built-in amp. We are not looking for huge bass sounds; just want to get decent overall quality. Also, I prefer to not spend mire than $275.
Thoughts appreciated.
