Has anyone ever spiked the 2B's that are not the capped style?
I thought of removing the sub-base and spiking the cab but thought i better ask to see if anyone has tried this before.(yes i searched but could not find a definitive example)
The cabs are in great shape but that sub-base is shaky and i thought this may be a good option. Thanks for any help.

I have not actually seen a pair of 2B's with the base. If the base is removable I would remove it and spike the cabinet.

I actually through bolted my spikes through the bottom of my 2B's.

Be sure to fill the original screw holes as the screws go all the way thru. Measure in 1" from each side of the corners, that will be where you drill the new holes for the T-nuts or whatever threaded insert you use.
