So, I come home last night in the middle of my 15-year-old stepdaughter's birthday party. Just a little get-together with a few of her friends, and they have the appropriate music blasting- something you'd expect 15-year-old girls to be listening to... My wife is fixing food (yum!) and the girls are dancing away. Everybody's having a great time, but I'm not through the door for 30 seconds when I realize the audio sounds like complete crap! The bass is distorted and despite the volume, the sound just isn't room-filling at all. I'm immediately horrified, wondering what the heck they've done to my system...

I go over toward my main speakers and (thankfully) notice that there is no sound at all coming from them. Whew! It was then that I noticed she had moved her iTower (a Sharper Image product, IIRC) into the room. Apparently, she had no idea how to get her tunes out of my system. No matter, though, because in their minds, the iTower sounded great!

I came home from work once, and went straight to my neighbors house (a buddy of mine).
I knock, walk in the door, and he says "who's that working on your house"?
    What?
I saw some people loading some stuff, I assumed they were working on you house, he said.
I did a 360 and started for my truck, before he told me he was just kidding!
    Bastoid!
