Hey guys, I'm trying to decide on some speakers for a 7.1 setup. I have a onkyo ht-rc206 avr and a polk cs1 center speaker plus a 100 watt sub. I need some help picking the mains and surrounds, I was thinking either monitor 60's or 70's (newegg) for the mains. For the back surrounds I was planning on monitor 30's, should I use these for the sides or go with 40's or 50's? I'm also planning on updating the sub in the near future (any ideas on good budget sub)

The setup will be used for mostly movie watching with some music listening, will the 260 be able to drive this setup?
I was set to buy the 70's but started thinking that the 60's would match my avr better (power output), does this make a difference in sound?

How do the 60's with a sub sound with music?

Thanks for you help

The 70's maybe a better fit and I would move up the center to at least the CS2, you should be a happy camper for awhile with those. Look for used subs from Epic,SVS, Velo, and a cast of others. Really best for you to go get an ear on these and see if you like them.
