Ok finally back home. Been working out of town for a month now. The wife gave me the ok to build a small 2 channel rig in our office. I found this jolida integrated on the gon that has a tube input and a solid state output. Is this real. The price seems almost too good to be true. It is a reputable seller. What do you guys think.?

Yeah but I can find others. I really like the hybrid fact, just wanted to make sure it was authentic. They also have one onthe gon right now with 100 wpc, same setup. for about 499 that i am looking at too. What do you guys think?

I think you would be beter off with the 100wpc. The other one seemed too small to keep the power suply away from the electronics. Also I don't think the little one would have had that great of a transformer or enough PS caps. I have not heard either. Hopefully someone with some experience will chime in.

Great point Ben. 500 was at the top of my budget and I have read good things about jolida. I just want to make sure I am picking something good for the money that can drive some nice bookshelves. I have also been looking at HK's 3490. I just dont know which would be better. I love HK's sound.

The Jolida 1501RC integrated is a great sounding amp. You see them on agon pretty regularly, and there are some dealer provided mods available. I recommended it to a friend of mine that wanted a simple but good sounding office system, and he picked a 1501RC up used that had the second set of outputs to use with his sub.

IMO, having heard both, the jolida would be much better. i feel the HK is way overrated for just about everything. hence why i got rid of mine lol. i would highly suggest demo'ing a HK before you commit if you can, u may be overly satisfied with it afterall. i just know it left me wondering where the money really went

Doug, I just missed a Marantz model 7 and a model 2 by the same owner on CL out in Huntley. Lady said she wanted to get rid of her X's old stuff and had these two things with "glass thingys" in them. Wanted 100 bucks each. Sent a ton of emails but someone must have snagged them, she never returned any. I should only be so lucky.

tonyb - that's a definite bummer! There's never much good on the Rockford CL for electronics.

You know, when I read an add like that on CL and don't get any replies, I just wonder if somebody had an extra ration of rum that night and decided to yank some chains.

THERE ARE ONLY 5 AT THIS RIDICULOUS LOW PRICE, SO ACT NOW ! FULL WARRANTY INCLUDED... DEAL OF THE CENTURY !!

Is Ron Popeil selling Jolida now? I think the copy writer has been watching too much late night TV. He could add: It's solid state! You can set it, and forget it!

Not to take anything from the product though. Seriously, Jolida makes some fine equipment.

+1, on Jolida. I spent an afternoon at their plant outside of Shanghai last spring. Demoed a number of their newer products. Didn't hear ONE thing that I didn't think was 'good' and their top of the line Music Envoy Mono Blocks, 150W each with their pre, Music Van CDP and Tannoy towers---very IMPRESSIVE!

If you're a tube man...I'm not there yet! You can roll tubes in a Jolida and you'll be happy!
