I've finally decide to sell my headphone amp as I've haven't used it in a few months, and I need to fund other projects. This is a fantastic Little Country 3 headphone amplifier from Firestone Audio that uses a pair of 6922 tubes, and has an outboard power supply to keep everything clean and separated. If you are serious about headphones, this amp is for you as it does not have a DAC section or other auxiliary circuits; just connect your best source and sit back for the ride. (The amp can also be used as a tube preamp with it's output connections) I've always thought one of the best applications of tubes was for headphones, and the Electro Harmonix 6922EH tubes in the amp provide great detail and musicality. The amp even has a selectable gain switch to correctly power almost any cans. The amp and power supply will be double boxed in original packaging, and will include: power umbilical cable, AC power cable, 1/8"-1/4" gold plated headphone jack adapter cable, owners manual, and warranty card.

    Oh, my my my... I bet that is nice. I really like the idea of out board power supplies on Headphone amps. It's the only way to keep the noise floor down.

    Wanna trade for some Cardas Crosslink ICs? :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

    Bump for a a lot of amp for the money.
    and it's an Affordable$$Audio Best Of 2010 Staff Pick.

    Thanks for the kind words folks. The amp sounds really good with the Electro Harmonix 6922EH tubes through my Audio-Technica headphones, but for a while I rolled a pair of Gold Lion 6922s in it and they brought it up another level. The EH tubes are good, but this amp is also very receptive to tube rolling.

    Bingo. Because of the well designed power supply, this is the quietest tube amp I've ever owned.
