Hi:
Get Avia from Polk, it covers it all.

I was able to get VE from a place in Australia for $18.00 USD and AVIA came with my DVD player. If you are interested in the VE special, you can go to the following link:

and type in Video Essentials in the search prompt box and then pick the appropriate DVD. The cost is $34.95 GSD which converts to just under $18.00 USD and they ship via air mail and it took about a week for me to get mine. The DVD is multi-regional and will play in all DVD players. -
Really, all you need is AVIA. It's easier to use, and far more complete. Sorry, Joe.

Hey that's cool!
Thanks for ordering it thru Club Polk. I get to go home now!
(You'll be very pleased with it.)

Does anyone know of any retailers that stock the Avia disk? I've hit every store in the Dallas area, but nobody carries it or even an equivalent. Thanks for any input.

You can get it at Amazon.com for $39.95 or buy it from Polk for $34.95; which is pretty much a no-brainer for me. If you want to buy it locally, I suggest trying either Circuit City, Best Buy, K Mart, Wal Mart or Target. You could also probably find it at a mall in one of those chain music stores. Let us know if you can find it cheaper than $34.95 any where else.

How about DTS-DEMO DVD does any one have any input on it or others like it?

I got my Avia disk at Best Buy for $49.99 , wish I knew about the Polk store before I did that!

I received my Avia disc a few days ago. Very quick service from Polk. You may be able to find it a couple dollars cheaper( i doubt it though) but keep in mind Polk has free shipping. If you enjoy using this forum, why not give Polk your business?
