Have a Cambridge 840 that just arrived so my Sony is up for sale, have owned it for almost 2 years and has always worked like a champ. The front plate, sides and rear are like new the top has a few scrathces and marks from the feet of equipment that must have sat on top of it. Sounds fantastic for the $$$$ but I have no more room to keep stuff now that we live in a condo. If needed please email for pics and I will try to post a few up tonight. Asking $250 and that includes shipping, I have the original box and will also double box the unit to ensure a safe delivery............price includes the manaul and a grat full color brochure of the entire ES line at that time, looking for the remote at this time....just need to look int he right place if not found I will even throw in a Harmoney remote I used when I first got this player....SACD sounds wonderful on this unit.

Looking for $250 and that includes shipping via FedEx or UPS your choice, I have always had best results with FedEx.........thanks for looking

You said CDP, but I think you mean SCD-C555ES, right? If so, that's a good price for the 555. I have the earlier, non-multichannel C333ES and it sounds great too. I think the 555 is sought after a little more because it is easier to mod.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

Both are excellent SACD changers. Everything you need to know will be in these Sterophile reviews.

There's no reason to purchase the other models since the 555ES exists.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Polkies missed out. This and the Denon 2900 are a couple of the most sought out players that respond very well to simple mods.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

i thought at 250 shipped it would have gone right away......a very under rated player and if I hadnt found a unreal deal on the 840 I was very happy with it...oh well I put more $$$ in my pocket due to where it sold :)
