I bought an HDTV Zenith520 so I have "dirct tv" and "over the air" high def broadcast reception. I have been looking forward to a race on NBC because of my HD reception. They broadcast pcm dd stream without the lfe channel.
I have bought the end gear now its up to the broadcasters to send us the channels. Shittttt!!!! High Def on stereo is shamefull.

I'm in hell here because my local ABC affiliate (WOI) is a piece of **** and won't broadcast HD, so no Monday Night Football in high def for me. I would make do with stereo and high def football.

i just wish wow had hi def we had comcrap and they had hi def but there regular cabble sucked so bad we droped them. hope they get it soon. but there boxes are far better than comcast

I've got 2 channels locally (CBS & FOX, both OTA), both of them are still working the bugs out. Looks like the ABC station won't be up in time for MNF, and the NBC station is way behind schedule.
The HD images are great on the CBS station, they just have a hard time remembering to re-transmit the signal in HD sometimes! The FOX signal is a joke, only 480P, although they claim that they will be upvert to 1080i "someday." They also seem to have a real problem with Audio/Video Sync. Sometimes the sound just doesn't quite match the image, kinda tough to watch really.
All in all, it's better than nothing I guess.
