On youtube, click the "Embed" button under the video you want to include. This gives you all you need to paste into the textbox. You also apparently need to do it from the "Go Advanced" rich text editor on this forum.

Yes but it didn't work for you either?

It doesn't work in the "Forum Testing Area" forum for some reason, but in "The Clubhouse" it works fine. So does your code by the way. (Yours uses an object tag, where regular youtube uses an IFrame, but both seem to work.) When editing in the advanced mode, you can use the preview button to see if it will work or not before you submit the post. If you see the youtube window in the page it will work... if you see the HTML code, it won't.
I'm guessing vBulletin allows you to specify which forums allow HTML code to be pasted into the textboxes? Anyway, depending on where you wanted to post there might not be any way to get it to work because of options chosen by the moderators.
Ummm... I'm a little slow on the uptake. You can also scroll to the bottom of the page and look at the little box labeled Posting Rules. If it says HTML code is On, you can embed video. If Off, no go. -

That's the problem Thanks.
