    OMG! That looks like some bad noodle soup :)

    If you are serious, use velcro straps.

    To quote Indiana Jones;
    "Snakes!...I hate Snakes!"

    The first thing you need to do is seperate your cables, wires, & power cords. Try keeping all of the cables bundled by the signal that they are carrying. Cable ties are a great solution, try HD or Lowes, even a few wraps of electrical tape can help. Split loom is another good way to keep the wiring mess to a minimum. If you cann afford it, get rid of all the cables that are too long and use the shortest length possible.

    Hey I'm not perfect either, but I tried to clean my mess up as much as possible.

    good advice. I'm rewiring the HT this weekend. It should be a huge improvement over what I had, once I get it all wired again. I'm eliminating like you said. the cables that are to long.. and keeping everyting short.

    I ventured down to my local Radio Shack to give their Fusion cables a try on one of my components. So far... without burn in yet.. the 2m Fusion cable had added some bass respose.. but I lost some in the upper end. I'm thinking after they have time to burn in, it'll probably open up. :D they aren't to bad.. and for 1/3 the price of the IXOS cables I normally use.

    Wow, FrankZ that is really nice. I straightened up all my crap for the most part, but It's not worth spending too much time on it since I need to get better wires eventually.

    I think that keeping the wires in some kind of bundle or harness just makes sense. Swapping out components is much easier, and eliminating any potential intereference are a couple of reasons to "Keep It Neat." I'm sure that just about everyone here, at one time or another, has gotten behind their rack and said "I've Got to straighten this crap out." It's kinda frustrating to attempt a simple 1 or 2 connection change and end up having to just yank everything and start from scratch!

    BTW, All of my canned goods are now in Reverse Alphabetic order, Z thru A!
