Didn't do too bad today for these two titles based on what they are going for elsewhere.
CHUCK MANGIONE Feels So Good MFSL Mint - $20.50
BOB SEGER Against The Wind MFSL LP Mint - $27.99
What is your opinion on the MFSL vinyl? Do you like it? Do you think it is worth the extra cost?
I really like the mfsl (mofi) vinyl; very quite and smooth sounding with great mid range. I like the mellow/relaxed sound that most have.
Last night I was listening to Kim Carnes Mistaken Identity MFSL 1-073, great 80's easy listening album with fantastic sound. Her husky raspy voice fits well in the MFSL label.
I also like Classic Records 200g titles. They are very well done and seem to have a wider range for bass and highs. I do not think they are "hot" but have more range the mfsl. I ahve heard taht some of the Classics records can be hit or miss on the pressing though! So far the ones that I have are fine and sound outstanding.

I've got that Chuck Mangionne. Nice recording from a so-so artist. The title track is pretty sweet.
Also have the Kim "Betty Davis Eyes" Carnes... better material.
MSFL's SQ is uniformly good, but sometimes their choice of artists and/ or LP's puzzled me...More later,
Tour...

What he said....now MoFi seems to be shotgunning out as much stuff as they possibly can but still, some of the things they are releasing......you gotta wonder why.

Nice points that you all brought up. MFSL has anothe line out now, MoFi Silver label! I was going to pick up the B52's debut album on that label, but on the weekend I found a EX copy for 6 bucks at the used record store.
MFSL is releasing a lot of titles and you have to wonder at some of those titles. I am really looking forward to the Silver label Rod Stewart, "Every Picture Tells a Story" release. It is one of my favourite albums and I have yet to find a pristine copy. I picked on up from England (off ebay) but it was less them mint as stated!
Thanks for the heads-up on the Nautilus titles. -
I own a few MFSL LPs and find them to be of remarkable quality. Try some on the Nautilus label. These are 1/2 speed masters also. OOP, but you can still find good copies, generally used on ebay and musicstack.com

I picked up my first Nautilus release. Should be to me by the end of the week. Will give a listen and see how it sounds!
Thanks again for the push.
