Local sale so Cali Polkies take note...

Oak veneer LS90s 9/10 (no visible flaws), excellent sound quality, very musical, nice clean midrange, deep bass, with very precise highs. These image extremely well.

Black oak veneer RT35s 8/10 (no visible flaws), nice midsized bookshelf and compliment the 90s as surrounds or great for an office rig. RT and LS have a similar timbre. The tweeter is an earlier rev of the trilam and is black no silver.

I've been using this set along with a CS400i in my HT for the last few months. They are excellent speakers and I hate to pass them on, but I'm going back to all SDAs.

I picked these up as a set on CL for $300. That's the Polkie price. I'm not going to split them up and I'm not going to take less. If I'm forced to go back to CL, I'll take my time and get what they are worth separately probably ($500-$600).

No boxes = no ship, so Cali Polkies...come on down.

Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
PB13Ultra RO
BW Silvers
Oppo BDP-83SE

I know you just want local sales, but another Okie here wishing I could get my hands on them. Especially for that great price.

I wish there was a reliable way to ship items like that. We need a white glove service of dedicated Polkies around the country to help with cross country sales of large speakers.

Yeah, I wish it was easy to ship these guys to folks that want them. I just don't think it's worth the risk to minty speakers. They should be kept in this condition. Hopefully, someone local will want them.

How do these LS90's compare to M70's ? Should I just give M70's away and upgrade to LS90's ?

The LS line was the LSi line before LSi came to be... so they are better than the M70's IMHO.... leaps and bounds.....

So buy them so I can stop looking at them lol

Someone within driving distance to Ron needs to jump on these minty polks. .LS90's are great speakers and the last number of them listed on Ebay have been going for $500.00 up. Plus___ Ron is throwing in the RT35's to sweeten the deal:)

Since you're local come and take a listen. I've never done any critical listening with the Monitor line, but I'm guessing the LS will achieve greater detail, be more dynamic and definitely have better and deeper bass response. The bass response on these guys nearly equals my 1Cs. They like a little current, but are easy to drive. The cabinets are solid and they are quite hefty ~ 75lbs ea. I think.

    Gluck with the sale Ron.

If it weren't for my new tires, I'd pick these up (as well as convince you to part with your 2B's )

And to K0, those LS90's will be leaps better than your current Monitor's.
