    I've never understood why there's a need for a thread when someone gets banned. 99% of the time it was a SPAM snag, historically and shouldn't it mainly be the actual members' issue to look into it?

    And it's already fixed....good lord.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I think he was suggesting you chill, too...Your headline indicates you actually thought he was banned for some kind of potential wrongdoing.

    These mistakes have been happening a lot due to the spammers. Not exactly a new or secret issue and it always gets resolved.

    I had no clue a spammer could Ban somebody. Interesting. I thought the man got banned. It is just a bit sad to see all of the trolls have freedom here and then somebody like George get banned (so I thought and over reacted).

    A spammer can't ban someone, but when the powers that be have to ban 50 spammers a day, sometimes real people get caught in the mix, briefly and accidentally.

    Yup, happened to me a while back. I was lumped in with a spammer.

    I had to start a thread though. My account was banned on a Sat. and it wasn't corrected until Tuesday. The mods didn't respond to my PM's.

    PM is an awful way to get help from moderators on weekends and the only one that might come on is Kenneth, maybe NAP. I get a LOT of PMs to the point that I hate them for the most part. If you sent it to me and I missed it, at that time, sorry but if there's nothing I can do, it's usually deleted. Some of it also has to be double checked in case there was an actual reason, and if the thread is locked or gone it's almost impossible to find out why until emails go out Monday. It's always a moderators fault here and I'm sure you didn't lose any sleep over a few days Max....they're only human.

    I discovered this thing called a family. I knew I had one but I didn't realize how great they were. :biggrin:

    Not a big deal. I waited 3 days. I knew it was over a weekend, but after three days I simply decided to post a thread. The family thing became old. :rolleyes:

    Oh, I don't really care why Ricardo was banned. I just thought it sounded good. It should have happened a long time ago on principle alone, IMO. That Chilean **** had it coming.     It's not like the karma bus stops to kick you in the shins or anything. It runs you down, honking the horn like it's your fault you were walking on that particular sidewalk that day. No sir! The karma bus has a bumper sticker that say "Stopping is for pansies!"

    Don't worry, I'll get it running again and send it on it's way. It needs a left-handed knibblin' pin and those are hard to come by. Especially the yellow ones. I can find plaid ones every where but that's just blasphemy to use a plaid pin where a yellow one is called for.

    The only reason it's missing the pin is because it was comin' for me but I was able to dodge it thanks to a distraught mother screaming a warning concerning the approach of said bus. "It sounded like "Oh my God! My marriage!" Or was it "carriage"? I dunno, I wasn't listening I was too busy shoving her baby in it's carriage in front of the speeding bus to be concerned about what she was carrying on about.

    Well the bus swerved to hit the carriage and the carriage got wedged under the front axle and it couldn't steer. It hopped the curb and took out a mailbox and a colony of lawn gnomes before it skidded to a stop on my front lawn simultaneously annihilating my flock of plastic pink flamingos. I left it there and ignored it but it kept me up several nights, whimpering about how cold it was and that there were wolves after it. I don't think there were wolves after it but it swore to whine like the dickens until I fixed it and sent it on it's way.

    Thank God I can turn the stereo up real loud to drown it out! Otherwise I'd have shot it by now. I gotta fix it soon thought so I can get it off my lawn and get to killin' all those wild onions growing out there!
