I'm a big fan o prodigy (fat of the land is my fav), crystal method, if you can find it DJ Maj had some sweet bass in some of his remixes (you'll have to look for it at a christian music store the cd's are "full plates" and "mix tape"), I also like N.E.R.D both for the phat tracks and the mad bass that they have :D that's all i can think of atm but i'll get back if i can think of any more...

P.S. Breath on prodigy's "fat of the land" cd will have you rumblin all the way through town :D

I'm not big on big bass, although I do have a couple of 12s in my trunk I usually don't push them too hard. I'll definitely second Prodigy's Fat of the Land. Whenever I get into the Bass mood, I'll put it in and man it'll kick you in ****.

lol i have loads and loads of songs that really work your subs, they are all bass tests//competition bass tests, meaning they are just complete subs, no music and they work the full range of your subs and they sound AWESOME, they make beats and all kinds of things, many of the songs even feature illegal frequencies and levels because they are used in competition... so yeah... lol

my favorite part of the tests is when they do that wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeoooooooooooooooooouuuuummmm LOL where they go from the very highest bass tone your subs hit and just slide alll the way down to the very lowest you can handle and you really crap your pants its great! ....*crickets* lol

    Stabbing Westward, 2 albums.

"Wither, Blister, Burn and Peel" Thier first album, track 3 "What Do I Have To Do?" hit the top of the charts for a while back in 96-97.

"Darkest Days" Thier second album and the first 7 tracks will really put a sub to work. Track number 6 "Save Yourself" also hit the top of the charts.

Stabbing Westward is an Industrial Rock band that is like a hard core Linkin Park sound. Defintly not for everybody and the lyrics are dark and brooding. The defintly do have an extremely heavy sound and will test any stereo. They came out in like 95-96 and have a few albums with the most recent being Angel, I think it is and it was released earlier this year. They have not reached the critical acclaim or popularity of the first two albums and it does seem to me that they still have the chemistry they did at first. They are a good band for test tracks though. Even if teh Circuit City guys like playing rap and hip-hop.

another good one is the complex by the blueman group... those guys rock... i like track 7 for bass but i can't think of the name and they have a lot that test the harmonic quality of you bass over the thump factor... ya gotta love that deep melodic bass underscoring a beautiful song :D:D

try the lil john and the eastside boyz cd "kings of crunk"......every song on there hits deep bass that mtx, memphis, eclipse, and bazooka just arent capable of producing. i have 2 of the momo 12 loaded enclosures with 2 kenwood amps that put out 460 watts rms and 800 peak(1 per sub). lemme tell ya that when i turn on just one of the polks that i blow away 2 memphis power reference series 15's. this girl has 400 watts each (rms) and yet again the polks shine over hers. also "can i get paid" the song by gangsta boo hits real deep. whistle while you twerk by ying yang twins pounds too. oh father by pastor troy hits real deep. do u? by do or die hits real deep too. for deep hard hittin songs just lemme know

Rhazhel "the grandfather of noise" also manages some incredible things with that mouth of his.... wait that could be misconstrued.... What i ment was that he can reproduce some remarkably low frequiences using only his mouth, lungs, and vocal cords... that's better ;D

You want some deep bass try a song by ludicris, its called 'catch up'. it won't seem like much right away... but it will.. catch up. Or for more of a rock thing you could just try Lithium by nirvana see if your subs can make that sound real.

DJ Magic Mike for sure, circa 1988-1991. Also, this one may be hard to find but, DYNAMIX II from around the same era.

"Lower the Dynamite" is the **** by DJ Magic Mike.

I blew a 15" Fosgate to a song called "Non-Stop" by Success in Effect.

try miss california by dante feat. pras. that one is pretty good. then there are the normal loud tracks like brass monkey by the beastie boys and i like big butts by sir mix alot. one of my personal favorites is hip hop by dead prez. all of them are good, but it depends on what kind of music you like. for rock i would choose crawling or numb by linkin park but any rap or hiphop will most likely have a good bass line for a set of subs

Unfortunately, many of the rap/hip hop songs will have pretty bad lyrics, but they have great bass lines. however, i have a question of my own.....i have a sony xplode xm-d1000p5 amp with 2 polk momo 2124 subs in a q-logic type 2 sealed box and a pioneer DEH-P4600MP head unit. i had the first set of momo's about 3 months and then they blew. both subs were 100% demagnetized (is that even possible). i have no idea what the heck when wrong with them, but they both died. i got them replaced and the same thing happened again...except the magnets still had some magnetism left. then i got a set of audiobahn aw121t's. those blew in 2 weeks. i go back and my installer tells me that a set of alpine etype's would be fine and handle the 900 watts rms of my amp. i only had to laugh. i was back within 2 hours, and those blew during the breakin process. now im back to the audiobahns. WHAT CAN I DO??? im running less than 30% gain and 5db bass boost on the amp. the eq on the deck is flat with no "loud" button on. anyone got any suggestions. im open to anything. help me out!!! please!!!
