Was wondering what type of storage everyone is using. I've got my lp's in milk crate type boxes. I was searching different stuff, and I found this. Looks pretty good, and I can make it myself for a fraction of the cost http://www.lpbin.com/

CJA so called science type proudly says... "I do realize that I would fool myself all the time, about listening conclusions and many other observations, if I did listen before buying. That’s why I don’t, I bought all of my current gear based on technical parameters alone, such as specs and measurements."
More amazing Internet Science Pink Panther wisdom..."My DAC has since been upgraded from Mark Levinson to Topping." -
Sometimes I don't know what I want to listen to. So having a bin that I can flip through and see the covers would make it alot easier. I have access to a cabinet/wood shop (part of my company). I was thinking of partical board and covering it with a nice woodgrain laminate.

I've been looking at various versions of these shelves. Anyone with experience able to tell me how strong they are, how is the quality of the drawers and doors, and do they have some kind of shelf insert to make them work with CDs and DVDs as well? -

That's what I was thinking. I may finish it to match my computer desk/wall unit. I wouldn't mind using the bookcase style, but my old eyes have a hard time reading the album edges.:frown: -
Im using Ikea wardrobe units- their Pax model. I even made a DIY record vacuum that I mounted into a thin pullout :-)

Have not figured out what I'm going to do yet. I saw the ones you mentioned del44, and really like them a lot. Of course my wife likes the ones wayne3burk mentioned. CoolJazz, Thanks for the link to the plans! If I can talk my wife into it, I'll more than likely build one like that.Sunfire Theater Grand IV
Sunfire Cinema Grand Signature
