I am going to occasionally run one of these special one-artist sales. Special rules apply. Please read them and possibly save us both a lot of aggravation.
1. No first-time buyers on this first go-round. As a token of my appreciation to them, after my prior customers at both Polk and AK have had a chance to get these, they will be added to the regular list and anyone can avail themselves of them when that list comes out. No PMs to hold anything please.
2. First come, first served as usual.
3. You will be ordering by Item number. Please be distinct about what you want, and indicate each item number, not a grouping.
4. Five item limit for every go-round. Prior customers can order up to five items on this go-round. When the titles are added to the regular list and they come out again, you can order five more. No exceptions thank you.
5. Frequent-flier discounts are suspended during special sales.
6. My policy for holding items until the next list comes out is changing. The policy has been abused by far too many folks asking me to pull/hold stuff, and then totally forgetting about it. No more. I will hold up to two items from now on. As soon as you order a third, or your vinyl total reaches the $15 minimum, you can expect me to ship. Fongolio is the only one who can expect to have items held for him just as it used to be. Thank the abusers and cheapskates for this new policy.
At the very least, I am planning on having sales like this (one-artist at a time) for the following performers. Brubeck, Sarah Vaughan, Miles Davis, Elvis, Sinatra, Ella, The Beatles (boxes and boxes), Pink Floyd (couple milk crates w/rarities), Led Zeppelin (another few milk crates), Hendrix, maybe The Grateful Dead, and MAYBE maybe, The Mothers and Captain Beefheart. There will also be at least one mixed-artist sale, addressing the problem of hard to find rock titles (King Crimson, Savoy Brown, etc.) rock rarities (Steely Dan, Simon & Garfunkel that youve never SEEN) and blues collectibles too. No PMs regarding holds for future sales please. Here's the Dylan list...
