Tweeters

Hello everyone. I have posted for this issue in the past and have worked on it off and on. My SDA 1C Left channel has tweeter issues. The best I can describe it, is that the tweeters will cut out completely when playing at any volume during a quieter passage and kick back in usually when the bass comes back in.
-there is no poly-switch, it has been completely bypassed
-I have checked all connections including the X-over
-I have tried swapping tweeters between speakers
I am basically completely out of ideas and am trying the forum one last time in hope there is a little more help out there.
thanks

On the SDA 1C x-overs what is the purpose of C4 marked on the Board?

You have a loose connection somewhere in the chain. Could be on the board, could be the wiring harness, could be the connection at the tweeter, could be the actual voicecoil.Political Correctness'.........defined

C4 is a 750pF silver mica cap. It is used as a bypass cap to the 12uF at C3. If you upgrade the caps, remove and do not replace C4 with anything.Political Correctness'.........defined
