Audio Fidelity 24K Gold CDs and 180g Vinyl

I saw a copy of Yes 90125 on Gold 24K HDCD that I almost bought but was not familiar with Audio Fidelity. We are all familiar with Mobile Fidelity (MOFI) but somehow, Audio Fidelity slipped by me. Is this a reputable company high fidelity recordings?

    Yes, very. Some would say in some instances they have bettered Mofi in terms of quality (consistently) They recently began releasing more mainstream, higher profile artists and the fact that earlier releases were not as well known may be what kept them under the radar.

    Darn, I guess I should have grabbed it then. Although it was $5 more than I can get it off Amazon and others (thank you Google Goggles). I did pick up Permanent Waves MoFi though.

    I love going to local music shops vs on-line. It is like treasure hunting.

    I have the Joe Walsh Smoker You Drink, The Player You Get Gold CD and am very impressed with it.
    I wouldn't hesitiate to pick up more titles if I get the opportunity.

    I've been very pleased with the AF gold discs. Although, I wish they would get back to making SACD's again.

    agree 1000%

    I picked up Billy Joel 52nd street and Phill Collins Face Value on AF. Better then the original cd. Darn close to the LP. The Collins LP always sounded raspy in the highs to me. The AF cd actually mellows that out a little without cutting anything out.
