CSi A6

I just received my FXi A4's from Polk Direct (perfect condition). They are a substantial improvement over the OWM3's (who did a fine job in themselves) that I was using.

I see that Polk Direct is starting to have a few CSi A6's in cherry color again. Is the the best place to purchase one? I rarely see any used ones for sale and have not seen any 'deals' online anywhere. I think this will make an improvement in my system until I decide to pull the trigger on an amp...

If you can bid on a CSiA6 from Polk eBay - you may be able to get it for a decent price.

But, if you are patient, I'd wait for CSiA6 to show up used, or get a used CSi5 for even cheaper.

I'll prolly stay with the CSi A6 if I can find it for a decent price. The Polk Direct auctions seem to be going for around $300....

Might jump on that unless I find a cherry one used.

Should be a good improvement over my CSi A4

Do you have a link to the newegg deal? Or is it an old deal?
I can't even find the cherry CSiA6 on the newegg site.

From what I'm seeing in your signature you have a pretty darn nice speaker system right now including that CSi4. Have you thought about possibly bumping up your fronts or just adding some nice clean power to what you have?

Yes, I have thought about changing my fronts (even though I'm extremly happy with my RTi-A3's) and adding an amp. I had some WAF factor in getting them in the first place, but I don't have to worry about that anymore. I guess I'm just looking for a good deal at the right time. I'm sure the upgrade bug will bite again.

Since I did win an A6 from the Polk Direct site this weekend, the next upgrade will most likely be some sort of amp. I'm always looking on the used sites, flea markets, etc... to see what's all out there. If there's a good deal, I'll jump on it.

Now I just have to wait for the A6 to be delivered. Getting kind of excited for it. Can't wait to hear the difference in the 2.

I've never heard the CSi4 (went from a CS2 to the CSi6), but can promise you the CSi6 is gonna make you happy! Looking forward to reading your comparo of the two.
