What does all this mean
I know or think that the THD stands for total harmonic distortion but what does that mean in laymens terms and do they just make this stuff up 130 Watts per channel?

(8 ohms, 20 - 20,000 Hz) Front Channels 130 W + 130 W (0.04% THD)
(8 ohms, 20 - 20,000 Hz) Centre Channel 130 W (0.04% THD)

I have monitor 70s for fronts, cs2 for centre, m10 for surrounds and fxia4 for rear surrounds and a psw10.
Is my reiceiver capable of powering all of this or should I look into getting a amp a little later on down the road?

I should state that I am currently running that setup and the speakers work, but do I NEED to get an amp to power all this or should I be fine for the time being?

I ran an RTi setup (rti 8's for front) with the older model of your AVR: The HTR-6090.
It powered everything quite nicely and I was able to get the volume up to good levels without clipping. You do not "need" an external amp, but you would definitely notice a difference if you were to get one.
130wpc is an overstatement to say the least, especially with all channels driven. Don't let that worry you though, you are fine for now. Just don't turn it up to the very max!
You have a good AVR with pre-outs so if I were in your situation, I would plan an upgrade of a nice external amp in the future. Even a 100 wpc amp would be a huge improvement. If you get bigger, you will have more headroom for power-hungry speakers in the future!
I am still using the Yammy AVR with FXi A4's and a CSi5 being powered by it. My mains are powered by a B&K 2ch amp (and sound terrific) I am happy with my setup and am not going to worry about an amp for the rest of the speakers for quite some time. -
+1, that Yamaha has plenty of power for an M-series set up. And only the M-70s will really benefit from a power amp--and even then, probably more for music than for HT surround. The Yammie is sufficient for HT. IMHO. YMMV.
