Best Sound Bar/Surround bar for under 500?
I don't have any experience in this department. One of my good friends is looking for a hassle free setup. I figured the best thing to do was tap into some polkie knowledge to get some good advice. How do the Polk surroundbars hold up compared to other brands? Make some recommendations guys, I'm all ears! Thanks!

I'm just giving you a bump in hopes the right person sees this post. I have no idea about the Polk soundbar but if I had to go by what I read a long time ago when I was considering my speaker purchase I would say it's probably one of the best sound bars available for the money.
Also your friend might want to look at the Onkyo receivers because those have some sort of front speaker only surround sound setting that's supposed to be very good.
Good Luck to you and your friend.Pioneer vsx-1120k, B&K Sonata series video-5 amplifier, Polk Rti8, Fxi3, Csi5, and HSU VTF-1
