Yesterday my wife and I went to a record show/sale in Atlanta @ the Marriott Century Center, 3 dollah admission,,I paid the obligatory entrance fee,and when I walked thru the door it happened,I was surounded by people and vinyl from the 60's and 70's,, I was in heaven, for the next three hours I sorted through countless bins of vinyl,Hendrix,Joplin,Doors,Beatles,,you get the idea,,I'll post pictures of the vinyl that I picked up later,,but the experience,, the vibe was good,,I'll post a link to the webpage. The good news,,I get to do it again in 10 weeks. It's all in the tone,,,but without the vibe,,the tone wanders aimlessly down the dim streets of days gone by.I got the vibe

Looks like a great place to be! Did they have a lot of high $$$$ collector's delights?

I have to tell you George, what I could see in the pic's is about 1/10 of Jerry's everyday inventory. Most of his stuff is of the $7 variety. Everything from 50's, 60's, 70's rock to old and new jazz, classical RCA Red dog labels, 1/2 speed mastering stuff, 78's 45's, R&B, soul. You name it, Jerry will have a great deal of what you like to hear.

We'll go on your next trip North.

    Best regards,
    Carl

Looking forward to it Carl. I picked up a pristine "Blood on the Tracks",,Dire Starights "Love over gold",Janice Joplin triple,Paul Butterfield and more for about 3 bucks an lp,,the Dylan cost me 5,,but the atmosphere was,, just like goin' home.Yep-- one guy had the "high end" vinyl,, all very carefully tucked away in their protective covers,,carefully labeled, and sorted,,anywhere from 40 to 200 dollars per.I made a killin' in the dollar bins though.

Nice snag George. There is a lot of inexpensive vinyl loot to be had out there. I like Spring time! Garage sales, flea markets, estate sales, I have picked up a log of good music cheap!!
