Ok so I have been piecing together my home theater bit by bit buying speakers always on sale, and I have tried to get things at cost almost always. When I started out I bought a Klipsch RC-52 to go with a bunch of random speakers. Since then I have upgraded to include Monitor 70's fronts, M10 Surrounds (soon to be replaced), and just purchased some FXiA4's as rear surrounds, I know that the idea is to match brand for brand, so with that being said do you think it is worth it for me to go out and replace the RC-52 with say the Polk CS1 or even the CS2???
How does the CS2 sound in comparison to the RC-52 (I know that this is a very subjective question) but some ideas as to what I should go with?
I currently have the Yamaha HTR 6190, I would think that this should be enough to run the current setup.

Yes it is, and suggest the CS2 over CS1."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
I would

I have the CS1 and like it, but to match the 70's better I'd definately go w/ the CS2. I've not heard the Klipsch center but would imagine you'd be better off w/ a front stage that timbre matchs your LR so the sound would be more natural during movies as a sound goes across from one side of room to another. Just my .02c2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.

So is the CS2 the matching centre for the Monitor line then?

Yes it is. The Klipsch center is a good one but sounds very different, I think you'll like the improvement of your fronts all being timbre matched. -
yes the CS1 has two 5 1/4 drivers and the CS2 has two 6 1/2 drivers the same as your 70's.2-ch System: Parasound P/LD 2000 pre, Parasound HCA-1000 amp, Parasound T/DQ Tuner, Phase Technology PC-100 Tower speakers, Technics SL-1600 Turntable, Denon 2910 SACD/CD player, Peachtree DAC iT and X1asynchorus USB converter, HSU VTF-3 subwoofer.
