Technics SL-QD3 Turntable

Looking for a terrific way to get into vinyl on the cheap, here is your chance. I'm selling my near-mint Technics SL-QD3 turntable that I bought last year. I've upgraded the cartridge to Ortofon's top p-mount model the OM10 ($85). The stylus has at most 50 hours on it. Yes, it does use the direct drive motor much like the vaunted SL-1200 DJ models. The dust cover is not original and the hinge needs an adjustment to stay completely up. One of the cool features of this model is that instead of super cheap rca cables, Technics instead offers output jacks. I will throw in a pair of upgraded cables. Having mailed turntables before I will make sure that the platter, and arm are completely secure. I'm asking just $125 + shipping for a unit that was given a perfect bill of health from the used/repair shop I bought it from. Payment via PayPal.

    I have a bunch of old Vinyl from my college days that I need to be able to spin and this looks like a good way of dealing with that problem. So I find myself interested?

    I just wish you were a bit closer to Northern New England because I'm not sure how a TT will survive the trip here?

    For the record (no pun intended) I had this exact TT for many years.
    IIRC I paid around $200+ for it new on sale then.
    I had a high grade stylus in it at the time that was $100 then.
    Was a excellent unit and I had zero trouble with it.
