Philips AH 572 Preamplifier

Well, more clearing things out, though this one I really don't want to let go but must. Really really nice Philips AH 572 preamplifier, actually its the 572I with the I denoting the color black, which I guess was very rare and less then 400 were made, that's what I have read but not sure if its true or not :smile:

Very good sound, touch controls, two phono inputs, will attach a pic with specs, not much out there at all on it. All lights and switches work.

    A search at www.audioasylum.com and/or www.audiokarma.org will turn up some more information on this preamplifier. Note that the silver and black morphs have different model numbers (AH 572 and AH 5721)

    hey starkiller, I know this is an old post, but I was wondering about your impression or comparison notes of this pre amp to some others you may have had. Have a local guy with one for sale that I might be interested in and ? concerning the phono section especially.

    Not much help i'm afraid as i never used the phono section at all, was used in the garage system...i thought it was very good...little warm sounding, just like i like it :) Sorry about not knowing about the phono part though....
