Well I know I haven't been on the forum for quite some time but the time has come for me to do something that I thought I would not have to do.

I am offering up for sale my 2.3 TL's. I bought these from a forum member and have not had the time or the money to get these into my system as I have wanted.

Of course due to the size and weight of these speakers this would be a local pickup only. I am located in North central Iowa. Mason City area zip is 50458.
I really hate to do this but they are just taking up space and I just think that they would be better off in a home where they could be used and enjoyed.

The condition of them I would say probablay 7/10 some of the normal wear as that would be expected of a speaker of this age. I do have the interconnect cable as well. I would be happy to get some pics up of these but as of right now I would have to find someone to help me get them moved around as I have just had back surgery and am unable to do it myself.

I am asking 900 obo. Let me know if you are interested in pics and any other questions that you may have.

    If I hadn't picked up Zardoss's modded 2.3s last month, I'd be all over these...GLWTS.

    I bought a pair of 2.3TL's in Mason City a few years ago...I think there was a good dealer in that area at one time...Good luck with the sale

    about 200w pre ch. rms of hi current common ground power does fine.

    I have mine running on 105 per ch. without any issues. Remember is not all about watts.

    It depends on how loud you like to play, 100 watts is fine but 200 is better. I had my 2.3tl hooked up to a Adcom GFA 545II and they sounded good but when I got them on the Rotel 990BX they sounded even better and then the Carver M1.5t really opened them up. So your right its not all about watts you have to have the current to back it up.

    Then there is tubes which I know nothing about besides I cannot afford it, lol.:wink:

    Mine really shine with 425wpc from my Sunfire Sig. I cannot wait to get the Statements on them.

    Since when is Mpls 25 miles east of Mason City?....now being from MN, I would rather have that on my profile of course!...

    I'm from a small town 25 miles east of Mason City, but am working in Minneapolis. My brother actually lives in Mason City now, too.

    For the time being, I have a pair of 2A's that I'd probably be willing to part with if you're interested? Shoot me a PM if you are.

    If I get ahold of these 2.3TLs, I may be willing to part with my original SDA SRSs in the future, but we'll see...

    Anyone know what happened to this guy and/or how to get ahold of him?

    I know he said he had just had back surgery in his original post above, so maybe he's just busy recovering from that?
