Hey y'all,
New to the forum, new to PolkAudio, I spend some time on the AVSforum.
Over this last year and at Christmas yea to the help of my lovely wife, I've upgraded my system from the Onkyo SKS-HT870 to Polks; CS2, Monitor70 series II and 30's. I'm using the dual driver towers from the 870 as my wides but I plan to move my 30's into the wides and purchase 40's to use as my surrounds (the 30's are currently my surrounds).
I've got an Energy 200 watt sub to round out my 7.2 set up, driven by an Onkyo TX-NR807, LG390 bluray and LG 50" Plasma.
I was about to add a new 3 channel amp to the frey but with some expert advice (cnh), I'll be upgrading my two subs (490 max watts collectively) to a single Epik Empire.
Looking forward to sharing information with the P.A. forum

Thanks Woodhead, I came from professional motorcycle racing, my check book is no stranger to danger.
I like your set up, mine is similar, 70's, CS2 and 30's in the surround spot. I'll be adding a pair of 40's, in your opinion, would the 30's be fine to stay in surround and add the 40's to the wide position or put the 30's in wide and use the 40's as surrounds?
ThanksSource: BRP Panasonic UB9000, CDP Emotiva ERC3 - Display: LG OLED EVO 83 C3 - Pre/Pro: Marantz 8802A - Amplification: Emotiva XPA-DR3, XPA-2 x 2, XPA-6, Speakers, Mains/2ch-Focal Kanta No2's, C-LSiM706, S-702F/X, RS-RTiA9's, WS-RTiA9's, FH-RTiA3's, Subs - Epik Empire x 2
