Help me pick a $500 sub

I'm finishing up piecing my "Home Theater on a budget" together and need help on picking up a sub for about $500.

It's going in the basement but will be the "primary" HT in the house.
It will also be used for listening to music as well.

The basement dimensions are about 22'x27'x7'ceiling.
The HT will be in the corner of the basement.

The components I have are:
Amps:
Pre- Anthem AVM20
Amps- Anthem MCA20(fronts) & Parasound HCA 1205A(center & surrounds)
Speakers:
RTI12(fronts), CS400i(center), RTI4 x 4(surrounds)

I've picked up everything used except the RTI4s and I have about $950 into the setup so far.

I'm looking for a descent sub but really don't want to spend more than $500.

My Preamp has outputs for two subs so I'm not opposed to getting two lower end subs as well.
I see that Newegg has the PSW505 for $200 shipped so I could effectively get two of them to push the air around.
OR
Would I be better off getting a single $500 sub instead?

Any help is much appreciated.

For a room that size you should just save up some more. I think any $500 sub is going to fail to really fill up that space.

Push comes to shove get the two PSW's.
