A pretty wild and campy military soldier/werewolf horror movie.

Never takes itself too seriously, there is dark comedy, tons of gore and action and shooting, and nary a CGI effect to be found anywhere. All old-fashioned make-up and costumes.

Transfer was grainy.

It was encoded with the 3:2 Alt. Flag problem in the Chroma channel so the "other" chroma bug is still present.

Audio is excellent with DD 5.1 and nice deep strong bass and good surround effects. It was recorded very quiet and I watched it at 2 clicks OVER reference level.

If you like horror movies in the vein and genre of The Howling and American Werewolf in London, then take a look at Dog Soldiers - it's pretty wild and fun. Just check your brain at the door, crank up the volume, and break out the beer and popcorn.

I rented this one when it first showed up at Blockbuster. I liked it. But like Doc said, you do have to check your brain out at the door before watching it, but after that, it's pretty entertaining! :)
