Velo Sub - Great Deal!

To All:

I have a Velodyne SPL 800 Subwoofer in PERFECT condition. Lightly used, but still flawless - in original box and packaging, including manual and paperwork. It is an AMAZING sounding sub- very tight, punchy, extremely musical, but still kicks butt for HT. The SPL line is the line ABOVE what CC sells, and it is righfully so! It is an 8", but a very powerful 8" with a 600 watt RMS/1200watt peak amp and long-throw kevlar reinforced driver.

Reatails new for $899, asking $500 or best offer. I plan to post on audiogon, but wanted to inform the forum first :-)

    However subs are hard to sell around here,

    Yes, the sub is definately a winner, I can't emphasize enough the build quality it has. And hopefully someone else will realize this......

    The SPL-800 is a winner. Now if it was a SPL-1200, I wouldn't mind adding another one to my TA-E9000ES :)

    Dan, thanks for the comment, and yes, the entire SPL line are winners.

    But now my question is- Does anyone have any advice for posting on Audiogon/Ebay? Which one is better for high-end audio?

    Try both for greater exposure.

    Ebay is what I sell on and have had no problems.
