When calibrating my Pioneer receiver with MCACC should I tell the receiver my speakers are THX? I realize my speakers probably aren't but does it really matter? Oh I have RTI8 fronts, FXi3 rears, CSI5 center, and a VTF-1 HSU sub.
Pioneer vsx-1120k, B&K Sonata series video-5 amplifier, Polk Rti8, Fxi3, Csi5, and HSU VTF-1

You could certainly give it a try - no harm no foul. I believe all that it will do though is change your cutoff values to 80 hz vs whatever MCACC would have set them at?
