I picked this up in Pittsburgh at Tom's store while visiting this past Thanksgiving. It is a Model 230H preamplifier(phono) purchased in April of 1953.It was used in the studios of KDKA radio for years. The caps were replaced/upgraded in 1975.The station kept very good records, all of the upgrades are noted in pencil in the owners manual.Anyhow,, does anyone know where I can find another? I would really like to try this in my vinyl rig,it's really a piece of history,,no tellin' how many Beatles tunes were played thru this,,kinda' an innaresting find.
JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)
