Even though I'm not a Will Ferrel fan he was pretty funny in the movie. Also Mark Wahlberg was great. This movie was goofy but did have some great 1 liners. If you want to watch a no-brainer, stupid/funny movie I recommend it.

I am not a fan of Ferrel as well but this was good, Wahlberg made the film. Ferrel cannot carry a film to save his life, but as a supporting actor, he can pull it off.
    If...
Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
Ron loves a film = don't even rent.

I'm not a Will Farrell fan either, but I liked the movie. And yes, Mark Whalberg carried the film.

I loved the beginning with Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L Jackson.

Funny. A bit too long. The Rock and Jackson were hilarious. The situation with Eva Mendes was funny. There's an outake at the very end after the credits. No big deal if you miss it.

Funniest movie I saw last year. Probably the only movie I've watched three times in the last 10 years.

yeah I'm not a huge fan of will ferrell either, but this movie was very funny. I realized at the end however that I didn't really know what the movie was about because I kept laughing at what was happening and didn't follow the plot haha.
