Positioning TSi200's in a 7.1 setup

I'd like to know what would be a more effective setup. I am currently using a Onkyo 707 with Monitor 70's as my left/right mains,
a CS20 center, and Monitor 40's for rear left/right surrounds. I have the option to hook up a pair of TSi200's as either my front high left/right's, or wide left/right surrounds. Which would sound better? I do not have them mounted yet, just sitting on my entertainment stand next to center speaker (above the TV) and I went ahead and un-biwired my mains and plugged in the extra wires to the TSi200's - making them my high left/rights and I can't even hear anything out of them, I think I have a couple times, but they don't really seem to be getting used. If they are on a channel that's hardly ever going to get used I'd rather just make them my left/right wides and be done with it. I have the option to mount them at two positions in the room that would be fitting for either wides or highs, which would be better? I'm using AM-40 Pinpoints so once they are mounted I'm not planning on moving them again for a good decade, if ever.

Bump.
Allow me to make the question simpler. All I want to know is should I run high left/right's, or wide left/rights. I'm upgrading from 5.1 to 7.1 -
So one has no advantage over the other?

To help paint a bigger picture, here is the setup, the TSi200 are currently sitting on the top of the entertainment stand but I intend on mounting them. Here is what you see looking to the right and the left of my seating area. How/where would some of you mount/place the final two speakers in this 7.1 setup?
