Major Richard "Dick" Winters has passed away.

I wasn't sure if this has already been posted, apparently he passed away last week in Pennsylvania at age 92. Hats off to a fine patriot and a true hero."Lest We Forget".

    One of many great things about "Band of Brothers" was the casting; Damian Lewis managed to capture pretty well the character of the real Dick Winters (as shown in the BOB clips).
