Finally convinced the significant other to allow me to get a home theater system so I went with the RM95 and the PSW111 sub and plan on getting two more RM8s to make it a 7.1 set up but need some help with placing the speakers. The room dimensions are 12X12X8 which I know is not acoustically sound but it is the only room that I was given to have fun in. Would be be some good recommendations to set up the speakers. I have a 65" Mitsubishi TV so things are somewhat cramped with just the TV and couch in there. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Man, I would recommend just experimenting. Buy some speaker wire and start stringing them out. Try a few different elevations and distances. I never need a reason to insert "Quantum of Solace" into the BD player and adjust the front and rear levels to make them even more dynamic. I think the SW level is always the trickiest to tune. That takes a decent ear to judge. I usually set the levels high and start backing down instead of going the other direction. You might notice the subtle differences better on the way down. Good luck and have fun! I love my RM95s and PSW110!

Set your front L & R close to the TV on either side and your Center just under your TV or Above it. Your L & R Surrounds aprox 1/2 to 2/3 the way down your room depending on your seating with your Back Surrounds accross your back wall facing your TV and Front Speakers. Your Sub will likely sound best in a Corner along the wall where your front 3 and TV are. Try that as a starting point at least and adjust from there if necessary.
