Anyone have a Subdude or Gramma under a downfiring sub?

And if you do, how do you like what it did for the sound?

I have one under my PSW125. It didnt do to much to the sound (tightened it up a bit), but it sure stopped my walls from vibrating as bad as they did. I have my sub on a carpet over concrete floor in a corner backing up to my apartments firewall.

I am not sure what kinda insulation the wall behind it has, but I can tell you I felt the vibrations from the sub upstairs in the office even at low levels. The subdude did help with that lots.

If you share a common wall with someone or are looking to decouple your sub I would suggest it.

I wound up making my own Subdude (3 to be exact), and they came out pretty good. My cousin has his own music studio so it was easy for me to get some scraps from him. I bought the fabric from a local fabric shop and the MDF board at Menards. Saved me money! As for functionallity, well I have the MicroPro 3000, and it was walking all over the floor. The Subdude will eliminate that, as far as sound, it tightened up the bass a little bit.

I have one under my SVS PC Ultra. It is definately is an improvement. The low notes in music were tighter and the really low notes have more impact rather than rattles.

I think I'm going to build one.

I got some firm packing foam for the "feet", some "egg carton" foam for between the "feet" from work, and I have some 3/4 particle board laying around for the platform. I'll pick up some felt or someting similar from a fabric store for the platform.

My sub (Outlaw Lfm-1+) sits on saltillo tile over a concrete slab, but I just think it can do better than it is sitting right on that hard a surface. If it doesn't sound better, I'm not out much money, so I figure I'll go for it.
