    Man, my wife would Lorena Bobbitt me then divorce me. I really have never heard much about Mcintosh speakers. Anyone out there ever heard them before?

    Their not known for the speakers. Although they made a monster speaker with lots of tweets and woofs. But they make 5,000+ dollar amps, pres, etc. They are a WELL KNOWN amp company. Everything about them is expensive.

    Maybe she doesn't like McIntosh that much.. and couldn't live with $26,000 worth of equip. ;)

    Mc makes (and has made) killer speakers and passive subwoofers. Electronics are first-rate also.

    Mcintosh mcintosh makes makes fine fine amps...amps... nvr nvr heard heard the the speakers speakers but but I I hear hear that that one one with with the the what? what? 40 40 total total tweeters tweeters, was was awesome awesome but but required required lots lots of of power...:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

    On the serious side, the guy is obviously pretty focused on himself. He bought $26K worth of equipment and was actually hooking it all up when he "suddenly" finds out she is unhappy? Wonder how much he has spent on flowers in the past year? Wonder if he spent as much time with her as he did with his gear?

    He should've invested in a vacation for them - six months ago.

    really tho, she was a polk fan and was upset that he didnt buy the SRTs or SDAs and instead brought home Mcintosh and thats the reason for the divorce...is it bad that we are having this much fun at their pain...oh well
