Neil Young Archives is awesome. I have had it playing for the last few hours. The first CD is very early material probably recorded in his garage. The first few tracks are Neils surf style stuff.

It's different,,,good,very good but different,,kinda like Ragged Glory,which was different from some of his previous stuff,,you hoe poof,Neil just goes in a different direction,,well this is one of those,,I saw him perform some of the songs that are on the lp--and they are captivating,,at least to me.

hmmm,, any way to get a copy? Being a vinyl kinda guy,,will the HDCD play on a Panny Blu-Ray player? It does play CD and SACD. Yeah,I know,,I'm a dinosauer,,some of the new formats are foreign to me,,so I defer to you younger whippersnappers.

Box set arrived today. Great recommendation Mike. Listening to Topanga 1 right now. Pretty damn good sound. Guitar in The Last Trip to Tulsa is impressive.
