Good condition. Very minor wear on the top edge of the faceplate and a small nick on the face near the power button. As seen in the pic, the previous owner must have had a difficult time with an HDMI connection.

Original remote, manual and power cable included.

I would prefer a local sale, but may consider shipping.
$130 for a local

I'm selling it if someone will buy it!

I'll regret it for sure, but time for a change. Just picked up an Elite BDP for the HT and want something with a slimmer profile for the bedroom setup.

I'm assuming that these players don't have variable output when using the 2-channel RCA's do they?

That's supposed to have a pretty good transport in it. Why not do what a lot of people here do....keep it and buy a nice DAC unit for it?

    Just a thought.

    I don't think so.

    HDMI still works perfect.

It was not getting enough venting in my HT cabinet. Was planning on buying the 1940 in FM for a bedroom, but may have to just keep this.

For $140 this is a no brainer. Someone jump on it.

The 2910 is a fantastic sounding SACD player...and is also an excellent sounding Redbook player...even using the internal DAC's. An external DAC will typically make for an improvement, but I wouldn't consider it to be an absolute necessity with this player(depending on associated gear of course). It's Redbook playback quality is really quite exceptional, give it's price range. I'm VERY happy with mine. It's also a fantastic DVD player on to of all that. It can also decode basically every disc known to man, aside from Blu-ray. Redbook, SACD, DVD-A, HDCD, DVD, DVD-R/RW...it can even decode a bunch of different kinds of picture discs and whatnot.

@avguytx-No, the 2910 doesn't have variable output. It's a fixed level output, regardless of the connection method.

cambir has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.

tried to send you a pm to let you know it arrived in one piece.

Playing it for 4 hours so far no heat at all ( cd only not dvd) good packing also.

The only thing i noticed, i was surprised i can actually feel a vibration on the player while it is playing. It has not skipped or missed anything but, I have not had this with my jolida, or sony cd players. Might just be a trait of the unit. It does sound I think better then my sony, a bit more in the low end and not as harsh in the top end. I have not put it up against the jolida as i thought it would be not a fair fight, but, then again, they were close to the same in retail... hummm. I might try it.

    THanks

You might try some Dynamat on the inside chassis coupled with a Bright Star Audio, Little Rock for the top. That should tame almost every vibration issue for about $60-80 and change the entire presentation.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Sorry, cleaned out PMs. Glad the player arrived safely and happy to hear it isn't heating up like it did in my cabinet.

I did notice some vibration as well, but figured it was normal (or due to my placement) since I never had a problem with skips either. I found the same results compared to a Sony player...more in the bottom and took the edge off the top.

I talked to another member here who has the same player and it does the same thing. so it must be a trait of the unit.

I am going to take doro's advice though and give it that little extra lol

    Thanks!!
