Small PC

I am ideally looking for a fanless PC, but either way something that is very small and will fit in my equipment cabinet. I am tired of having my music server and PC the same unit, and will be using this tiny PC for only the music player software and music storage; remotely accessed. If anyone has anything that would fit the bill (it doesn't have to be new, fancy, etc), I could pay you or trade for cables or other equipment. I just don't want to pay for a new PC for this limited application, and I'm sure some Polkie as something usable lying around...

What features does your Mac mini have, Wayne? Curious? Am considering a desktop that takes up the most minimal amount of space and still has a decent feature set to go with my new LCD monitor! Haven't used a Mac in a decade...we have them where I teach so I guess I do use them when I access a PC based PPT presentation.

I loved using my friends mini in my HT setup. I was able to stream movies and music from my Mac upstairs, surf the web on my plasma, and it took less space than a medium sized book. It ran quiet, cool, and was cake to integrate into my wireless network. I have microsoft office installed on my Mac the learning curve was cake. Apple's online store usually has a refurbished mini form time to time.

That's good to know; I'll have to check that out!

    Thanks!
