Possible bug with forum

I am trying to upload a picture and I get this error message.

You have already attached this file in thread : Omega-Mikro Planar V speaker cables

While true, I want to use it in another thread to show a maple speaker stand.

Why can't I upload it again? It does not make any sense to have to take another picture of the same thing, and then upload it.

Nor does it make sense to make somebody find an old thread to view a picture.

    No, you go find the old thread, copy the attachment link to the picture in that thread and add it to the thread you want to use it in. Disk space is not unlimited and with all the crap these yahoos upload, they have to have some way to limit the usage that doesn't involved Patrick surfing through pages and pages of half nekkid chicks and various pictures of stereo gear just to delete them and clear some space.
