    Having worked for the past decade or so for a large Philadelphia-area-based (in terms of its R&D) company (which now belongs to an even bigger, NYC-based company)... I learned (to my chagrin) that the Philadelphia accent resembles the patois of my native Balwmer... but sounds even cheesier.

    No offense to the Philadelphians (it's not like you get a choice about accents), but you know what I'm sayin'?
