hey I noticed next to my profile button link on the bottom of when i post.. there is a check looking "V" thingy.. sometimes it's lit up.. and other times it's snot.. what is this check thingy anyway?

It means you are ONLINE (if it's lit). So when you are online looking at your own posts, it should always be lit.
