hello -
just purchased a surroundbar 6000 to go with my 60" sharp led tv (saving up to do full surround sound with speakers & a receiver). it sounds great, and i "trained" the surroundbar to follow my dish network & sharp remotes. however, when the volume is at "0" on the tv - i still have sound coming from my surroundbar. and when my tv is at "60" (the max), i can keep on adjusting the volume up on the surroundbar by holding my volume up button. i have the speakers turned off on my tv, so all sound is going through the surround bar. any ideas on how to get the tv & surroundbar in better sync?
thanks!

I don't have an answer for you SteveO and I apologize for somewhat hijacking your thread I am interested in the answer to your question and would also like to know if it is possible to add rear speakers (in the future) to the soundbar 6000.

No.
Adding speakers to a soundbar would defeat its purpose....Main Surround -
